Election campaign topics prior to the Federal Parliament election 1980. Topics: encoding of topic contents of the information sheet ´Nachrichtenspiegel/Inland II´ {mirror on news/domestic II} produced daily by the press and information office of the Federal Government and which on about 10 pages contains a summary of politically relevant events of the day based on the evaluation of about 22 daily and weekly newspapers and also radio and television reporting. The following is covered in encoded form in this data set: date, position of election campaign topic in the publication; number of topics; reference to interaction within or between parties; addressee for the statement; reference to topics or persons of the report; topic designation.
