Abstract

"Welfare and work-related changes" was conducted in 1995 as a follow-up study of the survey "Work-related changes" from 1982. The 1982-material was gathered in connection with the international comperateiv project "Class structure and Class Consciousness in Advanced Capitalist Societies", inspired and initiated by Erik Olin Wright. The purpose of the study in 1982 was to highlight different aspects of working conditions in Norway, with a particular focus on class structure, class-consciousness and differences in the labor market. In 1995, the desire was to study any changes in these conditions and how the development could be related to welfare changes. The 1995 survey was organized by Håkon Leiulfsrud by the Department of Sociology and Political Science, NTNU.
