Abstract
1. Attitude of young people in Cologne to use of intoxicants as well as
the intoxicants used by them.
2. Psychological self-characterization.
Topics: Age at first use and motivation for use of intoxicants; access
to intoxicant first consumed and feeling at first use; amount used.
The main part of the survey consists of the following scales: attitude
to parental home and school; social relations; personality dimensions
(FPI, with the dimensions: nervousness, aggressiveness, sociability,
calmness, striving for dominance, inhibitedness, depression and
excitability); ´lying scale´; attitudes to use of intoxicants with the
subscales: distance from intoxicants, danger and effect of intoxicants
as well as public sanctions.
Semantic differential for alcoholics, hashish smokers and junkies.
Demography: age; sex; school education; vocational training; income;
housing situation; social origins.
