Abstract

Daily values, future expectations, school achievements, attitude to school and expectations of choice of occupation. Topics: Activity after high school graduation; desire to study; fulfillment of occupation wish; influence on choice of occupation by parents, relatives, friends, teachers for occupational advice, class leaders, polytechnical instruction, work and interest groups, media, advertising of companies, center for occupational advice; work values (scale); knowledge about scientific-technical progress; relations in the collective; just treatment in school, family and public; role of the FDJ (scale); free expression of opinion in school; preparation of secondary school for further school; school knowledge as solid basis; difficulties in transfer from secondary school to further school; positive and negative memories of school; relationship of personal experiences and school knowledge provided; significance of selected occupation for science and technology; influence of science and technology on one's own choice of occupation; every-day values such as work, money, harmonic family life, achievement, obedience, knowledge, good relations, political position, good friends and colleagues; future expectations (scale); goals in life (scale); changes in organization of leisure time; time interval of life planning; personal life planning regarding residence, marital status, desire for children, employment and political commitment; material desires; grade of the final examination of the 10. grade; school accomplishments achieved; membership and functions in organizations; vocational certificate and occupation group of parents; family structure; participation in school investigation; willingness to participate further in the survey.
