Abstract

Political attitudes and judgement on parties and politicians. Topics: sympathy scale for the CDU/CSU, SPD, FDP, NPD and DKP as well as for the politicians Brandt, Barzel, Scheel, Schmidt, Strauss, Schiller and Genscher; issue competence of the parties and scale of personal significance of retirement program, of education opportunities, the fight against crime, reunification, foreign policy, of internal and external security, price stability as well as tax reduction; attitude to recognition of the GDR, to co-determination and intervention of the churches in politics; voting intent (first vote and second vote). Demography: age; sex; marital status; religious denomination; school education; vocational training; occupation; employment; household income; size of household; composition of household; city size; state. Also encoded was: district code; information about the interviewer.
