Abstract

The survey on tobacco and drugs has been conducted annually since 2012 by Statistics Norway (SSB), and this is the fourth time it is carried out by SSB. The study is funded by the National Institute for Alcohol and Drug Research (SIRUS). The main purpose of the survey is to map Norwegians' use and habits related to alcohol, tobacco and drugs. In addition to a set of fixed questions for mapping the use of drugs and tobacco, the survey also contains a group of questions that rotates each year. These were in 2015 questions about work life and alcohol, and alcohol consumption in different contexts. There were also added certain questions in the fixed parts of the survey. These were questions regarding shopping of alcohol abroad and in tax-free.
