Abstract

The Survey on tobacco and drug use 2013 is conducted by Statistics Norway on behalf of the Norwegian Institute for Alcohol and Drug Research (SIRUS). The study examines self-perceived health and relationship with drugs such as tobacco, alcohol, prescription drugs and drugs among different population groups. The purpose of this study is to create a basis for measures and evaluation in the field of drugs. This is the second edition of this study, but Statistics Norway has conducted similar surveys in the past. The survey sample consists of individuals aged 16-79 years. A majority of respondents are however aged 16-30. This is corrected by weighting.
