Attitudes towards Development Assistance
The surveys have been conducted, commissioned by NORAD, as additional surveys to the Labour Force Surveys. The purpose was to identify attitudes of Norwegian development assistance and provide data for studying the factors that influence these attitudes. In 1974 one sought like in 1972 to identify people`s knowledge of foreign aid. Later studys have consentrated on people`s perception of media coverage of developing countries and aid issues.
