Abstract

Political and economic issues. Work and leisure. Value orientation. This study number comprises the data collected during the so called main studies. The main studies represent three surveys which have partially been used for methodic experiments. The questions are identical in every survey except for the described differences. Topics: most important issues in Germany; evaluation of the economic situation in Germany and personal economic situation at present; expected economic situation in Germany and personal economic situation in one year from now; most important criteria in job search; current occupation; job satisfaction (scalometer); preferred leisure activities; frequency of selected leisure activities; satisfaction with work-life balance (scalometer); trust in other people (scale); locus of control; political interest; satisfaction with the government´s performance (scalometer); evaluation of Germany´s health care system; self assessment of own psychic and physic health (scale); value orientation (scale with split: alternative questioning); frequency of participation in surveys in the last year; internet use and activities on the internet; evaltuation of the effect of new communication technologies. Demography: age; gender; federal state; evaluation of the survey (interesting, rich in variety, important for sciences, long, difficult, too personal); interruption of the survey; personal remarks about the survey. Additionally encoded: amount of the respondent´s incentive.
