Labour force survey falls within the scope of social statistics and implies variables that reveals current state and changes in Slovene labour market such as extent, structure and characteristics of active and inactive residents. Abstract

The project was launched in 1989 as developmentally-research project at Institute of Sociology. Resarch group's goal was to develop instruments and methods for regular monitoring of occurrings on the labour market or on the field of hiring. The Labour Force Survey is a unique source of articulated information using international definitions of employment and unemployment and economic inactivity, together with a wide range of related topics such as occupation, training, hours of work and personal characteristics of household members aged 15 and over.
