A purpose of ADS is to collect information about current state and changes in employment and unemployment and economic inactivity in Slovene labour market. -- From 1995 on ADS is conducted under auspice of Statistični urad Republike Slovenije = Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia . In years 1993 and 1994 the survey was held together by Employment office of Republic and SURS. Exploratory stage of the project begins at Research Institute of Faculty of Social Sciences in 1989. Abstract

The Labour Force Survey is a unique source of articulated information using international definitions of employment and unemployment and economic inactivity, together with a wide range of related topics such as occupation, training, hours of work and personal characteristics of household members aged 15 and over. Survey is conducted as partial panel since 1992, each hosehold was included in the survey 3 sequential years.
