Norwegian School Election Studies

From 1989 school elections have been conducted in connection with municial/county and national assembly elections in Norway. In connection with the school election a survey among the pupils is also carried out. Some of the questions from the election survey are also posed to a representative sample of the Norwegian people. Norwegian Social Science Data Services is the national organiser and coordinator, while the NOrwegian Directorate for Education and Training, since 2005, has had the superior responsibility for the project.

Abstract

"School Election 2009, National Study" is a nationwide survey (telephone interview) carried out by Sentio Research on behalf of Sikt - Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research (previously Norwegian Social Science Data Services"(NSD)). The questions in the survey are mostly same questions that are asked pupils in Norwegian high schools in the School Election 2009.
