Norwegian School Election Studies

Since 1989, national school elections have been conducted in tandem with municipal and national elections. In association with the school election, students are asked to participate in a survey. Some of the questions used in the survey are also asked a representative sample of the Norwegian people. Abstract

Since 1989, school elections have been conducted in upper secondary schools in relation to parliamentary and municipal elections. The present data file is from the survey conducted during the school election in 1999. Students attending participating schools were first asked to vote in the school election, then they were invited to participate in the survey.
