Abstract

The aim of the survey was to describe the special education services that this group of pupils receives. Information about the service was gathered from each of the pupils form master, principal and teacher for special classes. The survey contains, among other things, background information about the pupils: geographic distribution, gender, class, pupil category and additional difficulties, applied for and assigned hour resources, supplied competence, plans and rapports, mastering, well-being and integration, choice of reading material, educational adaption. One municipality in each of the four counties was chosen as starting points. The units in the survey were all of the pupils with psychosocial problems who applied for extra resources for special education. Gross sample, 209 pupils. Net sample, 171.
