Abstract
The study deals with the question which life plans young people at special schools for emotional and social development choose for their future after finishing school. The background is a research situation that generally attests unrealistic personal ideas to adolescents from difficult backgrounds. In particular the life plan includes parameters from the areas of work, family, leisure, finances, and social and political participation.
