Abstract
Attitudes and degree of information of the population regarding the
parties, their policies and leadership.
Topics: Assessments of respondent on the East-West relationship and
economic future; assignment of advertising slogans and statements to
the parties; perceived differences between the parties; suspected
relationship between occupational groups and party preference; image of
the parties as well as the politicians Adenauer, Brandt and Mende
(semantic differential); degree of familiarity of politicians (sample
pictures); character traits held generally desireable for politicians;
party one cannot vote for; party preference; possession of vehicle and
television set; possession of stocks and shares and building loan
contracts; interest in art; self-assessment of social class.
Demography: sex; age (classified); marital status; employment;
religious denomination; occupation; refugee; school education; income;
state; stated possession of assets .
Interviewer rating: social class and intellectual flexibility of
respondent; suspected opinion leadership of respondent; housing
situation and city size.
