Politbarometer is a monthly series of surveys detecting the evaluations of situation in society and of the government performance. The Slovenian Politbarometer block borrowed questions from the German Politbarometer series by the Forschungsgruppe Wahlen, Mannheim. It repeats standard questions and additionally covers the current affairs. Each year part of the questions repeats also in personal field SJM survey.

The purpose of the surveys is to gain insight into the complex picture of factors and process of attitudes formation about EU in a period of accession.
