This research consisted of a post-election survey of a random sample of 1,153 Welsh adults aged 18 and over following the 2003 National Assembly for Wales election. The main purpose of this study was to investigate general attitudes towards the election in Wales, reasons for voting/non-voting, and impressions of the 2003 campaign.

This dataset contains responses to 38 survey questions: four general questions, 24 questions relating to voting behaviour, reasons for voting and non-voting, interest in elections and politics, attitudes towards the 2003 campaign for the National Assembly for Wales election and attitudes towards devolution; and 10 demographic questions regarding sex, age, working status, house tenure, etc.
