Abstract

Typical forms and courses of development of personality and social conduct of young people depending on social factors and conditions. Topics: Satisfaction with occupation learned; sense of well-being in training or work collective; fulfillment of achievement demands; use of various forms of further education (scale); evaluation of significance of future working conditions for occupational satisfaction (scale); occupation pride; remaining in occupation and company; retrospective evaluation of school (scale); frequency of reading regional and national newspapers and magazines; frequency of obtaining information about political events and mass-media preferred for this; frequency of reading certain categories; frequency of watching or listening to special broadcasts on radio and television of the GDR (scale); predominant use of GDR or West German stations on radio and television for political information; frequency of watching or listening to broadcast of West German radio and television and reasons for this; conviction of the world-wide victory of socialism; interest in political events; pride to be a citizen of the socialist state; world view; solidarity with the working class; agreement of one's own interests with those of the socialist state; readiness to do everything for the protection of socialism; evaluation of the following statements: working class and truth or right are united, readiness to take a stand for socialism, socialism is only possible under leadership of the working class, trust in leadership by the SED, exploitation of people by people is a problem of humanity, democracy requires freedom also for communists, democracy requires independence of politics from business interests, taking a stand for the ideas of communism; solidarity with the socialist native country and the socialist GDR; reputation of imperialism as personal enemy; assessment of the western world as world of freedom; stand on national...
