Abstract
Topics: assessment of the national justice system in terms of the independence of courts and judges; importance of each of the following aspects with regard to the assessment: interference from government and politicians, interference from economic or other groups with specific interest, insufficient independence of status and position of judges; confidence that investments are protected by law and courts in the own country; main reasons for concern about the effectiveness of investment protection. Demography: information about the company: number of employees, year of company establishment, ownership structure; involvement in disputes that went to court in the last two years; total turnover in 2022; sales to other EU countries and to countries outside the EU in 2022; percentage of the value of sales to other EU member states in 2021; direct selling to final consumers and / or to other companies or organisations. Additionally coded was: respondent ID; country; NACE-Code; region; nation group; weighting factor.
