Abstract
General political attitudes and opinions on current political issues. Political tasks.
Topics: Most important problem in Germany; party preference; political interest; assessment of the Federal Government´s commitment to long-term problems; importance of improvements in selected policy areas (e.g. reintegration of the long-term unemployed, compatibility of family and work, better integration of foreigners in Germany, climate protection, etc.); assessment of the Federal Government´s progress in these areas.
Refugees: refugees or asylum seekers in the residential area; rather positive or negative experiences with refugees or asylum seekers in the residential area and in Germany; agreement with various statements about refugees in Germany (increase in crime, cover the need for qualified labour, cultural enrichment, return of most refugees to their home country, Germany cannot afford refugees, good accommodation and care of refugees, help against an ageing population in Germany).
Digitisation: rather personal advantages or disadvantages due to digitisation; effects of digitisation on the labour market (creation vs. loss of jobs or no effects); evaluation of the pace of digitisation; evaluation of the contribution to the progress of digitisation by the Federal Government.
Demography: sex; age; marital status; cohabitation with a partner; school leaving certificate or desired school leaving certificate; university degree; educational qualification; occupational activity; job security; occupational status and characteristics; household size; number of persons in the household aged 18 and over; trade union member in the household; denomination; frequency of churchgoing; number of telephone numbers in the household.
