Abstract

This study is a compilation of variables from already existing studies: P0875, P1012 and P1100: Religion in Dutch Society 1979, 1985, 1990.

Importance of career, money, family life, social security / importance of social equality and democracy / hedonism / the existence of God, the meaning of life, suffering and death / importance of religion to r.'s daily life and world view / attitude to trade unions, class differences and government intervention / restriction of civil liberties / family planning / abortion / euthanasia / suicide / view on women.

Background variables: basic characteristics/ residence/ household characteristics/ occupation/employment/ education/ politics/ religion/ readership, mass media, and 'cultural' exposure/ organizational membership.
