Study title

Since 1989, school elections have been held at the upper secondary schools in connection with parliamentary, municipal and county council elections. The present data file is from a survey conducted at the same time as the school election in 2021. 17 739 students from 162 schools answered the questions in the 2021 school election project. This file is an extract from the complete data file. Based on the variables "region" and "simplified education program", we have created this file which is more representative of the population "students in upper secondary education in the autumn of 2021". Due to low response rates in a couple of regions, we have weighted the geographical selection in this file based on a modified regional variable. The variable "region" consists of five categories: Eastern Norway, Agder and Rogaland, Western Norway, Trøndelag, and Northern Norway.
