Abstract

This project investigated which regional features that are important for business development and growth in different regions. The aim was to find out what characterizes different companies' innovation methods and learning processes. This included how different companies exploit and use regional political instruments such as VRI. Finally, the project aimed to draw conclusions and discuss the importance of these regional variations for the development and design of new regional political instruments. The data is based on semi-structured interviews with managers/project managers in the business community, as well as advisers in county municipalities.
