This study focussed on public and parliamentary opinion in the FSU/ECE during 1993-1994. Particular attention was paid to political values in the Postcommunist era. For further details please see documentation.
The UK Data Archive also holds a later study by the same Principal Investigator, W.L. Miller, SN 3930 'Coping with Government in the FSU/ECE, 1996-1998'. This study is not part of the same project but deals with similar subjects.

This study covered: social background, social and political participation, political interest, attitude to government, privatisation, cultural issues, political corruption, voting, political protest, educational background, employment status and other demographic questions.
