Abstract

Political as well as personal attitudes and judgement on the parties before the state parliament election. Topics: Political knowledge and political extent to which informed; most important problems of the Federal Republic; attitude to the European Economic Community (EEC); issue ability of the parties; attitude to the NPD; sympathy scale for the SPD, CDU, FDP, NPD as well as for federal and state politicians; satisfaction with Prime Minister Altmeier and the Federal Government of Erhard (scale); preferred prime minister; degree of familiarity of the state parliament delegate in the respective constituency; expected changes with a change of government; personal attitude and assumed attitudes of the parties to expanding Rhineland-Palatinate; personal intent to participate in the election and possible reasons for non-participation in the election; party preference and voting intent in the state parliament election; behavior at the polls in the Federal Parliament election 1965 and possible change in party voted for; changes of sympathy for the parties in the last few months; point in time and reason for the voting decision; party identification; party one cannot vote for; judgement on the result of the coalition negotiations in North Rhine-Westphalia; attitude to religious or community schools; importance of school educational goals and assessment of their fulfillment by the schools; most able party in school questions; attitudes to the school law in Rhineland-Palatinate; attitudes to hippies, conscientious objection, suicide and extra-marital sex relations; judgement on the economic situation; membership in clubs and organizations and party political inclination of these organizations; stays abroad; change of occupation and job; social origins.
