Abstract
Attitude to the Federal German Armed Forces or alternative service of
those liable for military service who have not served yet. Scales to
record attitude and personality characteristics.
Topics: judgement on the general reputation of military service and
community service (scale); attitude of family and friends to community
service or military service; conversations about military service and
alternative service with reference persons; discussion with
representatives of the Federal German Armed Forces in school and
contacts with a military service adviser; receipt of advertising
materials; visits of friends in a barracks; interest in special
training in the Federal German Armed Forces; importance of studies or
apprenticeship; satisfaction with school degree; occupation prospects
and times of personal unemployment; benefit of military service for
personal occupation; important personal event in the recent past;
possession of motorcycle or car; use of alcohol and experience with
drugs; membership in clubs, youth organizations, student council and
citizen initiatives; party preference and eligibility of parties left
