The microcensus has been carried out since the 1970s and has been repeatedly adapted to changing circumstances over time. The last major reform took place in 2014.

Abstract

The special survey in March is on the topic of extended housing survey ("Erweiterte Wohnungserhebung"), just as in the previous years (Mikrozensus MZ8501, Mikrozensus MZ8401, Mikrozensus MZ8301, ...). In addition, there are questions on additional afterward-installations, installarions for sound and heat protection, public funding and the satisfaction with housing.
