Socio-epidemiological investigation on the situation of women in
various areas of life at the time of the social turning point in the GDR.
Topics: Having grown up in rural or urban area; reference persons in
childhood; number of siblings; today's relationship with parents;
marital status; composition of household; length of living together
with current partner; identification of current partner relation;
desire to grow old together; assessment of the partnership up to now
(scale); division of labor in household (scale); time available each
day for personal interests; desire for children of respondents and
partners under specific and under ideal circumstances; reasons
against another child (scale); number and ages of children; problems
after delivery; condition of health of the newborn babies; care of
the youngest child in first three years; preference for certain
persons for child care in the first three years of life from today's
view; satisfaction with child-raising and care in day-nursery;
preference for or against day-nursery in its current form; age at
