Abstract

Interest and participation of teachers in continued or further education through distance education. Topics: Desired content and didactic structuring of courses; desire for ´direct course days´; further education opportunities already used in the scientific, educational science and didactic areas; support of school administration in further education; time expended so far for further education as well as for further education measures planned for the future; benefit of previous further education for use in instruction; use of new forms of instruction or instruction media and experiences with them; further education opportunities at place of residence; assessment of the required extent of a re-structuring of teacher training; time expended for the trip to work; honorary activities; salary group; city size of residence and place of work. Index: demand for distance education courses. Demography: age (classified); sex; marital status; number of children; religious denomination; income; size of household; social origins.
