Abstract

The significance of authority in the process of political socialization in pre-school age (children and parents survey). Topics: 1. Children survey: authority structure in one´s family; conduct of parents regarding the children; sense of order; attitude to authority; role model of a policeman; socialization practices. 2. Parents survey: importance of educational goals; attitude to various forms of punishment; information about child-raising questions; position in sibling sequence; mixed marriage. Demography: age; sex; number of children; religious denomination; school education; vocational training; occupation; professional position; household income. Interviewer rating: length of interview; date of interview; interview surroundings; deviation from standardized text; identification of interviewer; concreteness of child-raising ideas of parents; willingness of respondent to cooperate.
