Abstract

Life situation of young people in family, school and work as well as ideas about politics, culture, crime and violence. Topics: relation between classmates; violations of rules by other schoolchildren (scale) and attitude to this; frequency of punishment by those responsible for child-raising; appropriate reactions by the legal system to violations of the law by young people (scale); frequency of personal oppositional behavior regarding parents (scale); experiences as a victim in personal surroundings (scale); relationship of younger and older (scale); attitude to parents, military service; government and freedom of speech (scale); personal characteristics such as open-mindedness, curiosity, conformism; knowledge of self-defense (scale); carrying a weapon; going out of the way of uncertain situations; acts of violence in school in the last 12 months; interest in politics (scale); interest in television broadcasts (scale); frequency of reading a newspaper; value concepts regarding: work, occupation, partnership, family; attitude to foreigners; foreign friends; reasons for acts of violence (scale); character of one's own residential environment; assessment of Berlin; duration of residence in Berlin; desire to live somewhere else; places for leisure time and frequency of visits; conduct with difficulties (scale); personal acts of violence in the last 12 months; preferred type of music; attitude to various youth groups; leisure activity; participation in serious disputes; reason for these disputes; occurrence of violence in school, leisure time and family; most serious act of violence experienced oneself; most serious act of violence against others; position within the leisure group currently and desired; persons of the leisure group who are of importance for respondent; characterization of these persons; evaluation of behavior in the group/clique; number of friends; importance of a uniform opinion in the group; negative behavior of schoolchildren and teachers...
