Abstract

This study is part of Wave 2 of "The Norwegian Valuation Study" conducted in 2007-2010 by the Institute of Transport Economics. The purpose was to obtain unit prices on real economic effects and welfare effects as a result of accidents in transport so that these can be used directly in economic analyzes. This valuation study has been based on choice experiments and contingent valuation, i.e methods based on 'expressed preferences. " This data set consists of data from two questionnaires. One form has a specific context, namely, traffic accidents and illness due to air pollution, while the second form does not specify causal context, but present them only as background "sudden death" and "death due to illness."
