The Slovene part of the first 1985 study was planed in collaboration with Yugoslav partners and was later extended in studies "Youth 1993" and "Youth 1995". The study seeks to explain changes in the experiences, values and life styles of young generation.

Abstract

Survey “Leisure time of youth in Ljubljana” is part of continuous programme of theoretical and empirical research of youth (se also: MLA85, MLA93, MLA95, MLA98, and MLA00). After analysis of values and life orientations of youth, authors focus their attention on leisure time activities of youth in Ljubljana. The aim of this project is empirical analysis of perception of offered leisure time activities in Ljubljana, ways of structuring of leisure time, expectations, and desires of young people that live in Ljubljana.
