Series
Eurostudent investigate students living conditions in Europe. In 2016, 28 countries participated. This was the third time Statistics Norway (SSB) collected data for the survey in Norway. In 2016 there was a demand for more data than collected earlier, and the sample was increased. Eurostudent VI obtained a sample four times as big as the sample in the survey conducted three years earlier. The sample was randomly selected.
Abstract
Eurostudent is a European student survey that focuses on the social dimension within higher education, that is, it's aim is to obtain data about social and economic conditions for students in higher education that are comparable across countries. The main focus is on the student's social background, living conditions and time consumption, but the survey also contains information about periods of study abroad.
