The war in Ukraine and its consequences

Abstract

The main objective of the research was to determine social attitudes and reactions in relation to the war in Ukraine in the Czech society. The 2023 wave continues the data produced in 2022. At the same time, other phenomena related to social life of respondents as are satisfaction, trust in institutions or threat perception were also targeted in the research, so that the data allows the analysis of resilience on a societal level. The survey in Czech Republic and Slovakia was collected in the framework of an international project where data was also collected in Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, and Estonia. Czechia and Slovakia data for 2022 and 2023 is available in Czech Social Science Data Archive.
