Abstract

The main objective of the research was to determine social attitudes and reactions in relation to the war in Ukraine. At the same time, other phenomena related to social life of respondents as are satisfaction, trust in institutions or threat perception were also targeted in the research, so that the data allows the analysis of resilience on a societal level. The survey in Czech Republic and Slovakia was collected in the framework of an international project where data was also collected in Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, and Estonia. Czechia and Slovakia data is available in Czech Social Data Archive.

Sampling procedure

The data were collected via internet panel. To achieve a representative sample, a stratified sampling was used, regarding gender, age, and geographic dispersion. The members of the panels receive points that may be used to purchase products.
