Abstract
Attitude to sexuality and AIDS among young adults
Topics: Life in the country or in the big city; living with parents;
open or inhibited dealings with partership and sexuality; desire for a
steady partnership; dealing with the physical; orienting personal
sexuality along the views of the religious community; fear of
strangers; consideration of minorities by society; importance of areas
of life; group orientation in leisure time; person to confide in;
attitude to the sick and disabled; psychological self-characterization;
attitude to sexuality (scale); number of sexual partners in the last
year; knowledge about AIDS patients; sources of information about AIDS;
assumed number of persons infected with AIDS in the Federal Republic
and self-evaluation of knowledge about AIDS; certainty about not being
infected personally as well as about one´s sexual partner; judgement on
the danger of infection in selected every-day situations; perceived
symptoms of illness which could indicate AIDS; refraining from sexual
intercourse due to fear of HIV infection; personal measures for
protection against AIDS; reaction when a new sexual partner asks about
protection against AIDS; preferred social measures in fighting AIDS;
importance of AIDS in one´s own life and for society in general; demand
for government preventive measures to protect against AIDS.
