preference and sympathy scale for CDU/CSU, SPD, FDP and NPD; preferred
chancellor candidate; issue competence of the parties on questions of
economic, social and foreign policy; party presumably with the most
politicians without religious denomination; attitude to election of a
politician without religious denomination; attitude to recognition of
the GDR and to the grand coalition; perceived influence of
organizations and pressure groups on German politics; knowledge of FDP
politicians; membership in clubs and organizations, religiousness.
Demography: sex; marital status; religious denomination; occupation;

composition of household; head of household; housing situation;
possession of durable economic goods.
