The Young Lives: Rounds 1 and 2, 2002-2006: Ethiopia: Teaching Dataset contains information obtained from all 1,999 participants at Round 1 (one-year-old) and all 1,912 participants at Round 2 (five-years-old) in Ethiopia.
In total there are 1,942 variables on the dataset taken from the child level data files available as part of the main Young Lives study (SN 5307). In order to distinguish data from the two rounds a suffix has been added to each variable:
- Round 1 (one-year-olds): _et1
- Round 2 (five-year-olds): _et5

Round 1 covered children aged approximately one year old and their households in Ethiopia in 2002. Round 2 of the study re-interviewed these children in 2006 when they are aged approximately five years old.
