Abstract

This collection contains data from case study analysis of low carbon industrial development in the Humber region in the UK, and Styria in Austria. The data includes interview transcripts of stakeholders in these regions, particularly focused on the interactions between public and private sector actors in project developments, and the influence of national and regional strategies and policies.

The ESRC Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy (CCCEP) brings together some of the world’s leading researchers on climate change economics and policy, from many different disciplines. The Centre is hosted jointly by the University of Leeds and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is chaired by Professor Lord Stern of Brentford. CCCEP was established in 2008 and its first phase ended on 30 September 2013. Its second phase commenced on 1 October 2013 and ended on 30 September 2018. The data in this collection is for CCCEP II Project 5b - Systemic Approaches to Low Carbon Transitions. The purpose of this project is to inform the development of low carbon industrial strategies for the UK. The project used case studies of low carbon industrial development in the UK and Austria.
