Situation in life, goals in life and social-political consciousness of
West Germans. Attitude to ´alternative life´ and ´alternative demands´.
Topics: judgement on one´s own economic situation and the economic
situation of the Federal Republic; most important problem of the FRG;
social goals; attitude and ways to change society as well as personal
location in society; importance of areas of life; general contentment
with life; qualities of life currently and sought in the next few
years; extent of changes sought in various areas of life; attitude to
´alternative life´ (scale) and attitude to ´alternative demands´ such
as e.g. environmental protection, recycling and new nutrition recipes;
relative willingness to spend money and readiness for restriction in
various areas of life; self-assessment of personal temperament;
measures to save energy in household and in use of motor vehicle;
number of cars in houshold; attitude to leisure time (scale); leisure
activities and hobbies; attitude to vacation and travel frequency;
attitude to work and judgement on current general work morale of the
