Abstract
Judgement on problems of the job market by employers. Readiness to
employ the unemployed and company data, regarding personnel policies.
Topics: expectations regarding the need for workers according to
number and qualification; personnel movement; experiences with
application and hiring of unemployed workers; hesitancy in hiring
unemployed; judgement on the supply of workers; need for trainees and
acceptance after conclusion of training; number of job openings;
cooperation and experiences with the employment offices.
Additionally the following company data was collected: area of
business; number of employees; type of place of work; personnel
development and personnel structure (sex, nationality, age, type of
contract and qualification); greater lay-offs; replacement of
foreigners by Germans; number and reasons for hirings; number of
departures and reasons for departure; number, position and sex of
interview partners.
Demography: occupational position. Interviewer rating: length of
interview.
