The purpose of this study was to investigate the development of racial awareness in white, West Indian and Asian primary school children (parental data only, child data was not deposited).

Type of district parent would like to move to, whether would object to presence of different racial groups in district. Type of school parent would like child to attend in future, parent's aspiration for child on leaving school.
