Labour force survey

Labour Force Survey is the biggest official statistics household survey in the Republic of Slovenia. A purpose of the survey is to collect information about current state and changes in employment and unemployment and economic inactivity in Slovene labour market. It provides data on the size, structure and characteristics of the active (employment and unemployed persons) and non-active population of Slovenia. Until 1995 the project was named Workforce survey. Labour force survey

Abstract

Slovenian Labour Force Survey 2001 is a Slovenian research with a tradition. The LFS measures the labour status and other characteristics of the population in a certain week of each quarter, by spreading the sample uniformly over all the weeks of the quarter. The survey provides data on size, structure and characteristics of active and inactive population. Almost 20.000 individuals participated in each quarter. Non-anonymised version of LFS microdata is available to researchers, onsite or by remote access. The survey was conducted as one of the surveys of the Eurostat Labour Force Survey. Comparability through time and space is possible as Eurostat distributes Labour Force Survey data of other participating countries.
