Attitude to problems of international policy, views about selected
countries and the image of the USA.
Topics: Most important problems of the FRG; satisfaction with standard
of living; attitude to France, USA, Great Britain, the Soviet Union and
China; preferred East-West orientation of the FRG; judgement on
American or Soviet foreign policy and the desire for peace of the
superpowers; judgement on the military strength of the two superpowers;
willingness for an increased European defense contribution; assessment
of the danger of a Soviet attack and the will for freedom of the
Americans as well as of the Soviet citizens; judgement on the equity of
the distribution of income in selected countries; perceived
rapproachment of the superpowers; attitude to a treaty to eliminate
nuclear weapons tests between the USA and the Soviet Union; attitude to
disarmament; assumed cause for a nuclear war; attitude to a united
Europe; desired conduct of a European Community regarding the United
States; perceived influence of organizations and associations on the
