Abstract

The main intent of this project is to analyse domestic violence in Slovenia with great stress laid on level of social tolerance in relation to violence, level of consciousness and sensibility to those problems and analysis of media discourse of domestic violence. Concrete goals were: 1) Statistical analysis of domestic violence in Slovenia in last twelve years; 2) Analysis of common social atmosphere in relation to domestic violence in Slovenia; 3) Analysis of media discourse about handling domestic violence; 4) Forming professional entries and measure strategies (treats) and preventing violence in domestic environments (to lay stress on public consciousness and sensibility).The main intent of this project is to analyse domestic violence in Slovenia with great stress laid on level of social tolerance in relation to violence, level of consciousness and sensibility to those problems and analysis of media discourse of domestic violence.
