Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner. The Survey of Londoners (SoL) is commissioned by the Greater London Authority (GLA) and began in 2018-2019. It is a self-completion survey of adults aged 16 and over living in London. The Survey of Londoners, 2018-2019 used an online-first methodology, followed by paper questionnaires, with a small number of face-to-face reminders to boost response. It covered a range of topics including measures that are key to understanding social integration, equality, diversity and inclusion, and economic fairness and food security across the city.
Further information can be found on the London Datastore website.End User Licence and Special Licence dataUsers should note that there are two versions of the Survey of Londoners dataset. One is available under the standard End User Licence (EUL) agreement (this study) and the other is a Special Licence (SL) version. The SL version contains more detailed variables and neighbourhood-level geographic identifiers. The SL data have more restrictive access conditions than those made available under the standard EUL. Prospective users of the SL version will need to complete an extra application form and demonstrate to the data owners exactly why they need access to the additional variables in order to get permission to use that version. Therefore, users are strongly advised to download this study, the standard version of the data. The SL version of the Survey of Londoners, 2018-2019 dataset is held under SN 8677.Main Topics:Views on your local areaFriends, family and other people you meetRespectBeing part of your communityWorkFoodPersonal financeThe internet and social mediaPersonal well-beingAbout your householdDemographics
