The survey has been carried out eight times previously, the last two times by researchers at the Institute for Social Research (ISF). The client is the Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi). Data collection is done by Kantar. The survey is based on a population-representative survey carried out in November and December 2019 with a total of 2,968 respondents from Kantar's online panel. The survey is aimed at the entire adult Norwegian population over the age of 15. Additional selection of people living in Oslo.
