To study the reasons for the high rate of discontinuation from family planning clinics found in Trinidad and Tobago (approximately 40% of attenders discontinue per year).

Women who attended a purposive sample of 13 out of 51 Family Planning Clinics in Trinidad, excluding IUD users. (a) Discontinuer sample defined as women who had not returned for 3 months after scheduled appointment (b) Continuer sample: women: who had attended within the last 3 months
